 Ah yes! That bit was added almost as an after thought. I was thinking almost in terms of Sheriff of Nottingham, but that'd definitely be too significant of a position for Eadwig to have gotten at that age. I actually just did some more research and I think a constable was what I was going for, or whatever Thalns equivalent would be.
