[@LokiLeo789] I would suggest for all our sakes that you give easier-to-distinguish names to the different deductions. Apart from that, it seems alright. If you wanted to go through historical progression rather than burning free points for currency, you might start out with clay tablets that are a small contracts promising service, like IOUs. That's how currency started out in RL history if I remember correctly. Of course, no one has explicitly declared discovering and using writing yet. As for Toun's temple, it would probably be like a monastery of self-improvement. Lots of white clay. Plenty of scribes. His insignia around the place. Also, a lot of anti-chaos rhetoric and proselytising, especially aimed to anyone who wants to be left alone by white giants.
The clay tablets would work, if im not mistaken that is combination of Commodity money and Representative Money. But an Iou won't work when trading it for food, especially when one cant offer the services another wants. Why it didn't last long. We will have a progressive currency like that, but as time goes on, it will fall out of favor.
We already at the currency stage?
A city state that brings many together can't rely upon the barter system and free labor for long. Goblins and Tedar may work for food, and human and hain for shelter, but they will find that working to only eat and sleep will leave them will little to trade in the end. People get angry. Currency would actually give Xerxes an economy. And allow for monetary exchange between villages outside Xerxes.
