[@LokiLeo789], On one hand, Teknall would be glad to contribute to a budding new civilisation. On the other hand, Teknall has a rather strong sense of morality and will be very much opposed to Amartia. That is, if he finds out that Amartia is the sin-ridden spawn of Vestec who simply wants everything for himself. So when you call upon Teknall, tread carefully. Also, not sure how ready the world is for currency. Metal hasn't been invented yet (give me a post or two, though. It's coming up soon). Numeracy is as basic as possible, for we don't even have mathematics. Writing hasn't been invented among the mortals as far as I'm aware, although we do have communication via pictures (thanks to Phantasmogoria) (Tounic calligraphy doesn't count). I believe that, before promissory notes or formal currency, wealth was traded in commodities. So rather than having, say, 50 dollars, you would have 50 grams of silver. Lacking precious metals, you can trade in grain or meat or hides or wood etc, or in precious gems (although that might be a bit valuable for commoners). Currency needs to be worked up to. EDIT: This is confirmed by the Wikipedia entry Vec found above.
