Thanks for the feedback, and yeah Venom is a terribly cliche name, that's what I get for writing it late at night. I think i'll go ahead and borrow one of your name suggestions.

As for the increasing the strength of his power, I guess as a few other people have hinted at I'm not really sure what sort of power levels we should be working towards here and I wanted to keep it conservative, much easier to scale his power level up than down. If he is on the weaker side of what we should be working with, I've got a few ideas for increasing the potency of his abilities already, quite similar to the one you suggested
