I have my reasons wanting a slightly more traditional list a weaknesses for my Vampire; Partly to provide myself with a challenge but also to prevent myself from becoming overpowered right away. At the moment Thule enhanced abilities would place him in the lower 'Olympic athlete' category; Stronger and faster then the average human by a long shot but he isn't the guy who'll bring home the gold. 

If he can survive his own weaknesses to survive and become a better fighter then I'll feel like he'll have better earned having greater power then he currently has.

As for holy artifacts... who says that your average day to day cross is holy?
