[b][color=ed1c24]General Nox here, coming at you with a vent about a certain scenario.

I have been a fan of pokemon ever since I was 7 when santa bought me a copy of pokemon Gold. Late to the party, yes, since it was after Gen 1. But ever since, I have dived deep into every game, played competitively, know stats and all that crap. I love pokemon, it always has been and always will be my number one franchise of all time.

But with this has come 18 years (started when seven, now twenty five) of abuse, bullying, and shit smearing. "Oh, you are too old for that childish shit", "Grow up", "What a loser", "Hey dick-head, nice poke-dex *stab**stab*<-shit you not." But I stuck with it and love it still.

And now, one of those very idiots who belittled me and made me feel like shit for loving a franchise and for finding enjoyment in a game series is into Pokemon GO, and says how great pokemon is and that pokemon is awesome. I should be happy, right? He has seen the light? But i am filled with resentment. All those years of shit all devalidated because one thing has achieved popularity and they jumped on the band wagon. "Oh, you still bent out of shape about that? Grow up and move on." MOVE ON? I have stab scars and memories of ER hospital because of you and my love for pokemon!

Not posting this looking for any response or anything. Just venting and feeling better for putting it out there.
