here's another one, made this up with a guy I know: power that lets you syphon heat from environment REALLY FAST and store this energy in yourself, with no upper limit whatsoever. Trick is that this stored heat energy can be expended in great bursts in order to fuel the guy's superpower and durability and for crude biomantic tricks like growing his nails into hardened claws or giving himself IR-vision or speeding up his reactions by overcharging the nervous system
