Upon the thing landing and pokeing Jeff's shoulder, realization hit that these things were more then just Illusions.  "Woah, okay! Okay! I get it, you're real!" Jeff said as he examined the thing poking his shoulder. At the very least the thing seemed pretty harmless, though he clearly had not idea what the hell it was saying. 
Jeff slowly sat up doing his best to let the ball thing on his shoulder remain balanced on it. As surprised as he was that things like this existed, between everything that happened along with the fact of him still wondering if we was actually alive, he bailey has any real shocked reaction to show for them. Though at the very least these things left him feeling a tad curious.
"Do you know what I'm saying by chance?" Jeff asked the ball creatures, not expecting much of a response to the question, but thought the attempt would be worth a shot nonetheless.
