Omega: A Witch, Some Aliens, and a Lost Friend... in the War Pits!
Omega kept his eyes shut for a moment. He wanted this to be some kind of bad freaky dream. As he slowly opened them to see an arena with bodies on top of bodies, he sighed knowing it was all over. He looked back at Enchantress, who appeared a lot differently than he thought. She was not the woman he had fought in the desert, the woman who was abducted with him, the woman who ridiculed him playfully, or the woman who fought and was injured in the arena. Her eyes stared into his with a blank expression. She knew he could tell. As the two traded stares, the judge descended down into the arena that echoed roars of discontent. No in the crowd had won. Instead, a misfit trio made up of an unlikely hero, a sorceress, and a man who gave his all. The judge spoke, and though Omega could not understand, he could hear the Enchantress faintly translate in her own words. "We win. They're gonna get us medical treatment. They can take us home... or at least you." Omega touched the button on the back of his helmet, and it folded back into the collar of his suit. He used his telekinesis to lift the Enchantress up and onto his shoulder. "We're going to make it back. Both of us." Omega said softly as he followed judge out of the arena and into a medical wing where several incubation looking machines were. The judge directed Omega to place the Enchantress inside one, which he did. Omega then got into a separate. He did not need to use it, he just wanted to sleep.
