Somehow, Alex was not surprised to find that almost immediately upon entering the temple they had come to explore, some sort of trap activated that sealed them inside behind a magical barrier. Before he even really had a chance to react he was drenched in some sort of slimy blue liquid, which he had the sinking feeling would probably stain his clothes particularly bad. "Why am I not surprised," he grumbled as he hurried after the Twins to get out of the weird trap. How was that even supposed to work in the first place? What about the people who presumably had to use this temple when it was still being used? Why leave the door open if yo were going to have the trap still be active? Somehow, he had the feeling that he wouldn't be getting any answers. He sighed then as he moved along. "Note to self, get a better wardrobe for adventuring." He really was going to need to do some shopping after this. Yet they were left with more problems, and he didn't question the twins when they were told to basically run and not look back. His tome didn't have the sort of firepower to handle a large crowd or whatever other trap had been concocted in this place. So he ran along, at least until they arrived at some sort of split in the path that could take them one of three ways. "well, unless someone happens to know what deity they worshiped in this temple, I would say Sun," he said aloud, figuring they had a good second or so to debate before they had to move again. Without any clues, it would basically be a guessing game, and he liked to think he was good at guessing.
