He turned on his allies, and generaly reeked havoc. But mostly, Ferrin is hunting for a Necromancer, and he suspects Nidhogg (but it's not him ;D) 

A short explanation, Ferrin can sence ambiant magic, with each type having its own feel. Ferrin will investigate any form of Necromany he finds, and as such, is bound to run into Nidhogg. However, his sence is somewhat limited in and around Crocus, due to the fact that it is a city long seeped in magic, currently full of wizards for the GMG. Trying to find a specific magic is like trying to hear one voice in the middle of a roaring crowd at a rock concert. 

The resulting headache also makes him short tempered, and more likely to pick a fight. 😅
