Fallout Name: Lucilia Seraph Allegiance (former or current): Brotherhood of Steel (Former), Vault 101 (Former) Race: Human Appearance: Sex: Female Age: 30 Inventory: Pneumatic PipBoy 3000 “Vault Breaker”- Essentially, a fusion of a pipboy and a powerfist. It is more compact yet delivers the same punch, as well as functioning as a pipboy all the while. One of Lucilia’s masterpieces. It can deliver a heavy crushing blow with enough force to dent combat armor, which is more than enough to break someone’s bones. Additionally, the impact surface has miniature telsa coils, delivering an electrical shock with each strike as well. It may induce a short term muscular paralysis in biological targets, but the purpose of the coils is to be used against machines and robots, overloading their wiring or otherwise melting through sensative inner electronics. Microfusion Hyperbreeder Liberator - A recharger pistol similar to the MF Hyperbeeder Alpha. Unlike the Alpha counterpart, the Liberator had been made with a larger charge capacity (I.e. “magazine”) and being more compact while maintaining it’s automatic fire and rapid self-replenishing ammunition. The downside however is that the Liberator is not nearly as powerful per shot as the Alpha version, and only slightly stronger than the standard recharger pistol. Multipurpose Machete - It slices, dices, stabs, and saws. Roughly 20 inches in length, this sturdy blade is an essential tool for surviving in the waste, and a valuable weapon against the likes of raiders and mutants. Grenade Launcher - Lucilia’s main firearm. Lacking the precision to use firearms well, she instead relies on explosions. Can hold up to four shots at once. 40mm Rounds (4) - Standard explosive rounds for a Grenade Launcher. 40mm Rounds Pulse (2) - Specialized explosive rounds that release an EMP burst instead of shrapnel. Highly effective against machines and power armor. Capable of inducing temporary paralysis in biological targets caught in the blast radius. 40mm Rounds Incendiary (2) - Specialized explosive rounds that create an intense fiery explosion. If it does not melt through anyone caught in the blast, they would still be coated in a phosphorus chemical that will continue to burn them for quite some time. It’s main purpose is to melt through armor and metals, though it’s obviously quite effective against biological targets as well. #4 Buckshot (4) - Specialized rounds that do not shoot a grenade, but are actually buckshot that can be fired from Lucilia’s grenade launcher. Lucilia relies on these in close quarters. Vault Suit - A standard blue jumpsuit. Lucilia’s differs from others in that she had purposely removed the numbers from where her suit came from. Leather Armor - Light leather pieces of armor to provide Lucilia some protection, but more importantly, pockets. Glasses - Prescription glasses Lucilia needs to help her see. They are in pristine condition, largely due to Lucilia’s own efforts to maintain them. The glasses have transitional lens, allowing them to darken in bright lights, giving her the appearance of wearing sunglasses. Jet (4) - Lucilia has grown to like Jet and keeps a stash of them on her person at all times. While she tries not to waste them recreationally, you can be certain that she will use them in combat. She knows how to produce her own Jet and often does whenever possible. She continues to experiment other, new ways to improve jet on her off hours. Canteen - A sturdy metal flask to hold liquids. Durable enough to survive gunshots, getting smashed by a supermutant, and dropped into a vat of FEV, all while leaving the contents inside crisp and fresh. Backstory: Lucilia was a Vault Dweller. She was born in Vault 101, all the way back at the Capital Wasteland. Her vault was under the control and ownership of the Brotherhood of Steel, and it’s people were drafted into their service. Lucilia herself was a scientist specializing in minimization technology: essentially, she tried to figure out how to make things smaller while working just as well. At first it was just mechnical things: making compact versions of the 10mm pistols, pipboys, radios, etc. As she grew older and more skilled in her field, Lucilia was able to put her practices into other fields, most obviously in weaponry. She was transferred over to the Citadel where she, along with other vault scientists, began to work on energy weapons to improve their performance and efficiency. But things weren’t easy for Lucilia. Growing up, she never had a particular dislike for the Brotherhood of Steel. Most were arrogant, true, but so were vault dwellers, wastelanders, and raiders. The Brotherhood simply had the weapons to backup their claims, not that it made their attitude anymore acceptable. It was while she worked for the Brotherhood at the Citadel that she grew to hate the Brotherhood. They often disrespected her, dismissing knowledge and ability as inferior to the Brotherhood’s, and thinking her more as a scribe rather than a scientist. They often belittled her and forced her to work on petty problems, such as weapon malfunctions or power armor damage, despite neither of those things being anything related to her actual purpose there. It was worse when they were drunk. All too often Lucilia had to flee from a Brotherhood “Knight” who wanted to force themselves onto Lucilia. For years she suffered their bigotry and torment until finally, Lucilia reached a breakthrough. They were doing research on the Microfusion Breeder, a power cell capable of creating it’s own fusion energy, which could be converted into power for weapons such as laser rifles. However the only weapons the Microfusion were calibrated for, the Recharger Rifle and Pistol, were deemed inferior in performance compared to the standard laser rifles and pistols. It was Lucilia and her compatriots jobs to figure out a way to make the Microfusion Breeder work with other weapons that utilize Microfusion Cells. But what Lucilia was researching was different. She was working on how to improve the Microfusion Breeder. And she did, stripping down various energy weapons to create a compact pistol that utilize the Microfusion Breeder that was just as powerful as a standard recharger pistol, if not stronger. With this weapon, Lucilia was able to hide until the chance to escape revealed itself. And when it did, she not only cut ties, but even managed to loot a suit of power armor from a fallen Knight, taking it to freedom. Soon however, the Fusion Core in the Power Armor died. This was strange to Lucilia, as the battery was nearly full when she had stolen it. However she couldn’t deny that the core was, for all intents and purposes, dead, and with it so was the power armor. So Lucilia Salvaged what she could from the power armor, utilizing its parts to improve her Pipboy into the Pneumatic Pipboy 3000, which she christened ‘Vault Breaker”. Alone with nothing but a dead suit of power armor, in the middle of the wasteland, with little to no tools, Lucilia created her masterpiece. However, the death of the Fusion Core was not something that Lucilia could have left alone. She has no idea how or why the Fusion Core had died, and whatever the reason could be, it could lead to other discoveries. Still a woman of science and progress, Lucilia decided to set off and get to the bottom of this mystery, to find the cause as, if possible, the solution.
