I enjoy it. It's mostly just walking around catching Pokemon. The social is mostly just a bonus since you tend to meet people who like Pokemon along the way. 

It's a bit obsessive.

Course there are those fools who don't pay attention, but that's not really the games fault. (Since it warns you to pay attention to your surroundings).
