Amelia had actually shown up at the funeral even though such events always made her feel uneasy. 

She wore all white a color that for her was funeral colors and black more used by secret societies which was part of the reason she distrusted the servants of the Vatican.

Once it was over she went to her lab and melted into her chair after redressing herself as a Doctor. She was emotionally exhausted, her heart ripped out because once more she had to sit by and watch helplessly as a child of her bloodline was hurt. 

She had to or by connection to her they would have experienced even worse lives as enemies and power hungry government's and individuals tried to exploit them.

Then sighing she picked up her private Cell Phone and dialed up a number she'd recently obtained.

When the person she was calling answered she had to smile as they spoke with the accent of Ur her birth city in Arcadian.

Evergreen exhaled then answered.

Well in the end she did get one thing she wanted; Freedom.

Eli inhaled audibly on the other end of the phone but Amelia had no trouble picturing the grandchild of Pietho her old friend's expression.

She's hurt but won't show it because it displays weakness."[/color] says Amelia sadly 

She's shocked when Eli laughs an says

Sure it damaged her more but Jessel is a resilient personality.

Then she hung up the phone and crushed it underfoot.
