He understood why, they were already taking a risk just bringing him down here. But Gren could use every apir of eyes he could get. Plus, on the off chance that the person they were looking for was here, they might mistake Petra as Gren and tell her what he needed to know, but tells Petra instead. That and Gren felt like he needed to protect this other aron. He's never felt a feeling like this before, but he wanted to make sure she was safe. And he figured the safest place for her was next to him.
