These things always helped me when I was stuck - 
Details: Describe the area around them; smell, sounds, tastes, sight, colors ect.
Flashbacks: Introduce your readers to a bit of backstory of your character by providing flashbacks.
Inner thoughts: What is your character thinking? Feeling? How is it effecting them on the inside.
