I beleive your ogre is short sighted. He might have kneeled down to pet the statue, and not my pet. Cause a giant Quaggoth is surely as tall as an Ogre. Maybe one or two meters lacking.

Edit: I mean, unless your ogre is also one of a GIGANTIC breed. Like, 50% giant blooded.
