This is most likely due to the fact that it is the home of his best friend, Phoenix (and also one of his favorite authors, but that's besides the point). It is also the birthplace of his YouTube channel and it's no secret to the internet that Jordan is an upcoming web star. Modesty seems to be one of Jordan's best qualities besides his affable nature and optimism and it seems that he often cites Phoenix for both his undeniable interest in the paranormal and the success of his YouTube channel. Although Jordan is known for being particularly likable, he is prone to moodiness. His unbelievable naïvety also seems to be a major downfall of his.
