Re: magic. (I believe this was for [@LokiLeo789]) Among mortals magic is currently very limited. Some while back Vestec divided a single vial of Astarte's magic essence amongst the entirety of Galbar's population. Mortal magics are currently weak and fickle. Divine influence can, however, make this magic stronger. Exact details of the nature of magic imbued within mortals: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/3541393
[@Antarctic Termite] has a good memory :lol The thing to remember here is that the djinn don't sexually reproduce so there isn't a clear distinction between 'male' and 'female'. With some effort the ones powerful enough to speak could also change the appearance of their physical form, so not even looks would be much of an indicator. Basically, whichever pronoun (he/she) you use depends on their personality. Here's a relevant snippet from Zephyrion character sheet that's applicable for the elementals as well:
Such a distinction is meaningless and cannot describe a being like Zephyrion, whose nature is akin to the eddies and gales that the god controls. The wind is tumultuous, wild, and chaotic. At times it can bring rain that nourishes and heals, but at other times it is the dauntless force that uproots mountains and scatters them like pebbles upon the wind. It is strong, wild, and uncontrollable. Some might make of it a motherly and nurturing force, but for most, it is a crueler thing and more fit to describe as masculine.
