Sooooo, I missed that they shared subjects and were in the same House (and therefore, dorms). After seven years, they can't [i]not[/i] know each other :P
Maybe friendly but hardly best mates? Perhaps they were a bit more pally-pally earlier on but in later years Beck started hanging with a different crowd? See: Darren
