Well, it depends on how vaguely you want to define self-interest. I mean, Tyaethe abandoning her men and command post to charge off to rescue the captain can pretty much be argued as self-interest, because she's ignoring orders to pursue her own goals (Protecting Fanilly). Even if that goal isn't protecting herself doesn't mean she isn't following her self-interests.

And so on and so forth etc etc. Like the "No such thing as a selfless good deed" argument. 

I, personally, am just trying to make poor jokes in the ooc though, so don't mind me.
