“Alright, Alright you mangy mutt, I’m getting up.” She responded as she sat up, letting out a stretch as well as a yawn, looking down at Rex who was eagerly wagging his tail. “I suppose you want to be taken for a walk, huh?” She asked him with a small smile, Rex responding with an eager bark, leaping up a bit onto his hind legs. She let out a chuckle as she rubbed his head, “Alright, let me get showered and dressed first, then we can go for a walk, yeah?” Rex obviously liking this, barked even more eagerly. Her name was Scarlet Warrington, a CIA agent who was sent to Altsoba to investigate the strange rumors that were going on about the supernatural, her superiors thought it was nonsense and that it was terrorists or something and they were using biological weapons to cause hallucinogens. Scarlet didn’t believe that, especially since strange phenomenons were going on around the world, not that she thought it was the rumors, but it was probably something that could be naturally explained, worst case scenario for her was that she’d discover nothing and this would be a paid vacation. Her companion that was with her was Rex, a German Shepard that she saved when it had been abandoned as a puppy, because of that, he’s fiercely loyal to her and will attack anyone he feels is threatening her, but is quick to be affectionate to other people should she give the okay that he has nothing to worry about. Normally she’d leave him at home, but there was no one to watch him and she knew she’d be gone a few days and didn’t need his food running out and going to the bathroom all over her apartment back home, so with that, he was on the trip with her. Scarlet went over to the window, partially opening the curtains before the harsh sunlight forced her to drop the parted curtain, great, she over slept, “And why didn’t you get me up sooner?” She asked as she looked to Rex, he responding with multiple barks as he shifted from one paw to the next, “Oh, it’s my fault is it? And who kept waking me up during the middle of the night?” She gave a grin to him before he started to pull on her pajama bottoms towards the door, “Okay, Okay, I get the idea, just give me a second.” She then headed into the bathroom, beginning to undress then turned on the shower, it taking her about fifteen minutes as she enjoyed the warmth of the water, though Rex was becoming impatient once more and started to paw at the door. “I swear mutt, you’re sometimes as impatient as I am.” She joked to him as she gave his head a fuss, grabbing some clothes out of her suitcase that she hadn’t fully unpacked yet and then got dressed in her casual attire which was a simple slim tee and some skinny jeans. Then with all that sorted, she finally got Rex’s leash, putting it on him and then opened the door, only to feel it sharply tug as he tried to bolt out the door, “Easy boy, we’ll be outside soon enough, just be patient for a second.” She grunted a bit as she tried to keep the fairly large dog from pulling the leash out of her hand. Once she checked that she had everything she needed, she headed outside, Rex all too eager as they began walking through the town, him sniffing around, impatiently trying to find a spot to do his business, “Oh come on Rex, we finally go out and you’re being picky? Just find any spot to do your business, it doesn’t matter.” She huffed slightly, clearly impatient at her dog before he found a spot he liked. She heard some commotion going on in the town center, she could faintly see the flashing of ambulance lights on the nearby buildings, it was probably nothing serious for a town as quaint as this one, but she couldn’t ignore it, only problem with that though was she was undercover, meaning she couldn’t use her go anywhere she likes badge without potentially exposing herself to the supposed terrorists her bosses suspected to be in the town. “Well, suppose we should check out what the situation is, huh boy?” She asked as she looked down at him, he simply responding with a lick to her hand, Scarlet giving a small smile before she began walking to where the commotion was happening. When she finally made it, she was actually surprised by what she was seeing, multiple ambulances with multiple people injured and a whole bunch of press crowded around the area, "So what do you suppose happened here, pup?" She looked to Rex who simply responded with a cocked head, either not understanding what she said or was equally as confused as she was.

Elizabeth Hawthorne

Location: Emergency Room Interacting With: Danica Graves [@Lady Amalthea]

Elizabeth had been taken aback by Danica’s strange reaction to her as she tried to approach her, not understanding how she was causing pain to her, “I have no clue what you’re on about, I’m just trying to check if you’re okay.” She tried to explain, heading towards Danica once more reaching out to her, though when her hand and part of her face passed through a small bit of sunlight that shone through some small windows that were higher up on the wall, her hand and partial bit of her face quickly began to burn and she let out a sharp yell as she darted away from light over to a nearby wall as she held her face, gripping around the area that area that stung. “W-What’s going on? Why does my skin burn when I go into the sun? A-And why does it suddenly heal so quickly?” She asked aloud, mostly to herself as she watched her damaged skin begin to heal, shaking from fear as she tried to understand what was going on and wondering why the sun was suddenly so hazardous to her, was it the ozone finally going away? No, it couldn’t be, multiple people had passed through the light earlier and they weren’t affected by it, nor would it explain her sharpened teeth or her fast regenerative capabilities as well as her improved senses, she was truly freaked out now. “C-Could you help me? Please?” She asked Danica shakily as she slunk down against the wall, she doubted she’d receive help from anyone, let alone Danica who seemed to be afraid of her and considering all the bizarre stuff that happened already, such as her dying and coming back as well as her previous injuries being healed, even if someone did want to help, how exactly did you figure out why the sun was suddenly harmful? As well as how she was able to heal so quickly? Her day wasn’t getting any better, that was for sure.
