[color=teal]||background||[/color]Thomas was born to middle class parents in a suburb just outside of Chicago. From an early age, he demonstrated acute apathy for almost everything. He’s always been directionless, preferring to waste time with friends rather than, say, study, despite being exceptionally intelligent. The result was that Tommy graduated high school with average grades. He studied philosophy at the University of Seattle for awhile, before dropping out after two years. He moved back to Chicago, only to find that his parents wanted nothing to do with him. He worked odd jobs for a year. When he was twenty-two, he found work as a bartender for an Irish pub, where he’s worked ever since. 
[color=teal]||personality||[/color]Tommy is completely and totally directionless. He has absolutely no idea what he wants to do. This had led to the development of some traits, like indecisiveness and apathy. He has an innate desire to be [i]wanted[/i]. 

Moving onto more social traits, Tommy exhibits a skill for deadpan humor. He likes talking to people. Even though he dropped out of philosophy, he did learn one important thing, how to argue your interpretation of something. Tommy has a passion for debates, which leads to him coming off as argumentative and occasionally playing Devil’s Advocate. 

[color=teal]||what they look for in a partner||[/color]Tommy isn’t a picky person. The only thing he needs is someone with a sense of humor (read: Someone that’ll laugh at his jokes). Someone who enjoys talking and arguing would be nice as well. 

[color=teal]||reason for joining show||[/color]Tommy wants to find some direction in life, a reason to stay in one place. He hopes that love might be the thing that finally forces him to settle down.
