Orion gave a small smile to Reya as she took a sweet, almost feeling that it somehow made her more trustworthy. It was as irrational a thought as he could muster up: that a person was 'good' if they took something free that you offered them with no strings attached, but Orion hardly cared about the irrational nature of the thought. He just wanted a reason to trust people, and Reya seemed honest; if not a little bit prone to over-thinking things, it seemed. She kept on seeming upset by every other sentence she said: as if she was afraid of insulting him or something. When Reya spoke up about the surroundings and who was probably worth looking out for, he nodded and took a mental note of each little hint. The woman seemed uniquely skilled at ascertaining the worth of people, and Orion found himself a little impressed. He'd always been a more 'instinct' sort of guy, so hearing the thoughts of someone slightly more rationale and significantly more preoccupied with forethought seemed like a spot of good luck. Orion had not missed the announcement, but he had found at least some calm in being social. As such, he was less inclined to rush for the exit. He was happy enough listening to Reya, because it was rare enough to see a nice, humble, pretty girl that would stop and talk to a man who, outwardly, looked more like a thug. He wondered if the woman was aware of his Faunus heritage, but she'd mentioned her dislike of bigots, and that was a bonus in his mind. He listened to her offer of 'hitting her up' after the entrance exam and found both the term amusing and the thought behind it comforting. "I'd like that." Soon though, it was time to advance: he happily walked alongside the woman, hauling the heavy bag onto his back with minimal effort. The man looked around the vast crowd now streaming out of the entrance and towards Bastion soil to see if he recognised anyone from the incident with the richer braggart. He had hoped not to spot them, and was greeted by the welcome lack of them. He thought about the people he might know from the upper-classes, should he actively seek them out, and the thought left him pouting. He hoped not to have to deal with those people: as a few of them might be bitter from their Signal days. When the pair reached the actual solid ground, Orion took the time to take in the sights and become suitably awestruck by them. Everything looked as pristine and beautiful as he could have imagined: and he found himself smiling a broad, toothy grin: showing off the over-long canine teeth that hinted at his Faunus status. "It's good to be at Beacon at last." He almost reached into his bag in order to withdraw his artistic tools: yet resisted for both the sake of his company and the sake of not turning up late to the entrance ceremony. "I'd be glad to walk with you Reya. You seem like a decent sort of person: I'm only antisocial with assholes."
