Viral definitely didn’t like the length of time the creatures had been here for, especially the shenanigans that had been going on before they arrived. A whole village disappearing meant they had most likely been spirited away by these creatures, he didn’t see any reason why it would be anything else since there would surely be signs of bloodshed if they had been devoured. Maybe it was true, that they were being taken to another dimension for use there. He didn’t know what to do about that, there was no time to investigate if they were in the other realm somewhere since they had to destroy the connection immediately. Maybe that village was where the portal was now, just hidden and waiting for them to get there to find that connection again. They would have to move quickly tomorrow, there was no way they could fool around for too long once morning came. “So…that’s why your species are registered as non-existent off-world. Your population is fairly split and secluded…” These natives were fairly good at hiding from officials who would be in charge of analysing populations and keeping note of the official native species. It probably happened a lot with other planets too, so it was probably no big deal and something they would just have to mention when they return. Really hating the thought of having to do the rebel’s work he let out a groan, looking back to the Chieftain at the mention of what happened to the beasts. “That’s them alright. We don’t know what happens to them, but we’ll soon find out the difference between that and death in their own world. Finding that out is my job…” Back at the camp the wait for Takeshi and the others to return felt like forever and everybody was starting to feel rather hungry. T’charrl didn’t know how to measure his own hunger, he always felt hungry. He didn’t have any real control over hunger quite yet so this wait was a matter of patience and keeping the urges to bite something away for now. Finding the moonlight to be rather pleasant he gasped when the sound of flight could be heard, his mind immediately going to attackers first before he eventually remembered he wasn’t on his home planet anymore. Still curious to who it was he saw Takeshi there but he had arrived with a couple of strange looking people who flew like he did. Staring at them curiously he gasped when there was the realisation that Viral and Shu was definitely not there, his eyes going to Yumi and her conversation with Takeshi to understand the situation. He had no idea what Takeshi was trying to say, something about Viral getting hurt and being somewhere else with Shu. Frowning, he slowly stood up as his eyes went to the aliens, tilting his head as he tried to understand them. He didn’t know what it was about them but he felt closer to them than he did to the others, like there wasn’t much difference between him and these natives. Twitching his antennae he soon snapped out of it when Eris suddenly shouted out, looking to her before to the larger Beastman. If Takeshi and these natives flew here it would be best if they flew too, but two of their party couldn’t fly and would either have to run with them or be carried. “Uhh, how do we get there, exactly? Is it far?” he asked quietly, stretching his wings out, “Is it okay if we carry Eris and Orion or uhh, is it close enough for ground running?”
