Shiver walked out of her room and into the hallway and leaned against the wall. She didn't know how to handle what she just witnessed and how terrible it felt because it was a baby. She was barely two. There had to have been no way or Wicked would have found it. Shiver was certain of that.  

She needed a distraction so she headed to the office. She remembered the new guy Colt and wondered if he had been shown around. That made her think of Michael. She wondered if he was ok. [color=fff200]"Michael?"[/color] She tapped her comlink and said, [color=fff200]"Could you come to the office a minute?"[/color] She sat down and wiped her eyes again. Liz asked her what was wrong and Shiver told her what happened. Liz burst into tears and started grabbing kleenex by the handful. Liz finally got herself under control and said [color=f7941d]"I hope  humanity is worthy enough for her sacrifice. She is definitely the most selfless person, God or not that I've ever met."[/color]

She made Shiver think and realized that she was so selfish. She hadn't even given one thought to being with Ro'kun except that they both wanted to be together. She had considered herself single when she left and he was only going through the motions with Enyo. They both said that. Shiver went back to their room and found Ro'kun. She crawled into his arms on the couch in her living room. [color=fff200]"Ro'kun, Enyo killed Shayla. She couldn't save her and no one would take her because she was too dangerous so she beheaded her to save humanity. So this must officially make me the most selfish person on the planet. How can I compete with that kind of goodness? You should go comfort her."[/color] She turned her face to look at him.
