Hunter waits for Brianna to finish taunting before pressing the circle on the boy's arm, despite his struggles. "You can't go anywhere. The more you move, the more this will hurt you." The scientist shrugs at Ambrose's acts of defiance. They were growing weaker and farther in between. Soon enough the boy would probably give up, or pass out form the pain. Hunter didn't care which. He'd done things like this, and worse, countless times. It all becomes the same as the years piled up.
Ambrose flinches at the air warming by his lips from the heat. He gives her a wary glare before letting out a sigh of relief as she moves back. He doesn't get much relief though, because the circle presses into his flesh. He wails in pain, that hurting even more than the cheek. He cries painfully and pulls at the handcuffs. "Please!" He cries, sobbing and shaking violently.
