Actually, it sounds like there is plenty for our characters to do, since they're all already in one place, to get to know each other.  I'd prefer to stick around considerably longer: I'm seeing lots of opening for Iris to do things, but am feeling very hesitant about pursuing them because of this looming timeskip.
