Manami was caught off guard by the sudden smacking of her hands, knocking her off balance in the process. She was expecting him to dodge not to stand his ground. However what really caught her by surprise was the sword she now found embedded in her gut.
Her water broke apart now and fell onto the ground as her eyes widened at the sight of her blood. However it wasn't pain which she felt now, it was complete and utter shock. Also some disbelief, but that was part of the shock.
Blinking in disbelief now she barely registered what James said, and as he removed his sword she fell forwards onto her knees with her hand covering the wound. She bought her trembling hand up now and stared at the blood-her blood-which she found on it.
The Paladin's sword had pierced her holy divinations and now he berated her, mocked her.
"[color=00aeef]My father...he wouldn't....not even he....surely...[/color]" Manami was mumbling incomplete sentences now as she stared at her bloodstained hand. Grimacing now, she held her head in her hands as pain now wracked her skull.
Although as soon as the pain had appeared, it had passed. Her water now formed around the wound and gave off a soft glow as it went to work on healing it.
A tendril of water now came in from James' right side in an attempt to swat him away as another wrapped itself around of Manami and dragged her further back in an another attempt to put some distance between the two. Regardless of what happened with the first one, it would buy her the time she needed to move. It would seem that James was quite skill in close range combat, so she needed to take a different approach here.
"[color=7ea7d8]Liars...blasphemers...you're just trying to trick me. Fool me. I won't allow this.[/color]" Looking towards James with an almost possessed look to her eyes, she lifted her arm up to face James. Water swirled around of it before being fired out in a concentrated stream of water with the power to punch through a brick wall with ease.

Sora touched down about a block out from the park as he waited for the others to gather. Once Verrick arrived Sora would clear his throat to gain their attention, however Ethel was still nowhere to be seen.
"[color=39b54a]Ok so let's get a couple of things sorted out here kid. Our target here is a woman in her early twenties with white hair. She will be wielding a scythe, possibly wearing an eyepatch and will kill you on the spot if given the chance without a second thought. However in the case of no eyepatch, her left eye will have an insignia in it. Trust me kid you won't miss this chick. Her name is Shiro Hime, or at least that's what she goes by.[/color]" Sora had a rushed tone to his voice, however he was only going to tell Verrick this information once. They didn't have the time to waste here to give multiple explanations.
He just needed to dump all the information the kid needed then they needed to move in.
"[color=39b54a]As stated her teleportation is a pain, but her enhancement magic will also be a hassle. She will be accompanied by another young lady by the name of Manami. In terms of combat power, she is the more dangerous of the two. Do try and avoid her. Our only goal is to get in, get Ethel's sister then get out. By what I saw earlier there are other mages here fighting them, but I'm not sure if they be friend or foe. It matters little, try and keep the fighting to a minimum.[/color]" With that said Sora turned and walked towards the park as Ethel rematerialised just as they reached the chaos.
