She however held her tongue, keeping up her facade and smile, she didn’t need this whole thing that she implemented to go south because she had an attitude with how he reacted to her dog. “Oh my pup wasn’t trying to kill you, as I said, he tends to get a bit over eager with meeting people and just wanted to say hi, I apologize again though, I didn’t mean for him to scare you.” She spoke as she glanced to Rex, rubbing his head softly. She took notice of how he seemed focused on the accident that was before them, finding it curious that he was so fixated on a horrible sight, then again, with all that she had seen when she was heading towards Altsoba, this wasn’t that strange. Perhaps he was just very enthusiastic about accidents and crime scenes, she came across people like that during her short time in the CIA, but she was getting a funny feeling about him that she couldn’t quite explain. She felt like she was beginning to make a little headway when she got his name and his job occupation, “Nice to meet you, I’m S-” She stopped herself just in time, almost giving her real name, she still wasn’t entirely used to her alias yet, correcting herself she continued, “I’m Emily Moreau and you’ve already met my furry companion, his name is Rex.” Scarlet took notice how he still firmly grasped the box, clearly not wanting to let it go, “So what’s with the box? Got a bomb or something in there?” She joked with a small chuckle, though she was preparing herself for any aggressive action he might take. Rex quickly took notice to a woman approaching them, alert but still being obedient to the commands that Scarlet gave, Scarlet noticed Rex’s diverted attention, then glanced over to see the woman approaching them. “I just got here as well the day before, so I can’t really fill you in too much, I think it was a shooting or something.” She responded and then added, “As for a place to stay, I’m staying at a place called Aunt Sue’s Inn, they’re might still be some vacancies there, thought I’m not entirely sure.” Rex being the curious sort went over to the woman, starting to sniff the woman, finding her to be okay, he licked her hand a little, "Now stop that pup, you've already bothered one person, we don't need you bothering another." Rex responding with multiple barks before heading over to Scarlet once more and sat next to her, "Sorry, I don't know what's gotten into him, must be all this crazy stuff that's been going on that's causing him to misbehave." She chuckled to Samantha.

Elizabeth Hawthorne

Location: Emergency Room Interacting With: Danica Graves [@Lady Amalthea]

Elizabeth had been surprised when Danica was suddenly released from the wall, wondering what the hell was going on, “Alright, aside from me, this is the second strangest thing I’ve see-” She began speaking before something started to drag her into the sun and pinned her there. She grunted as her skin began to cook once more, the pain becoming so great she eventually let out intense screams, if she was a vampire, she knew she couldn’t be in the sun long, eventually it would kill her. She felt the entity’s grasp release and then scurried out of the light, just making it out of the direct sunlight, panting heavily as her skin began to heal, though this damage would take a bit longer. She glanced over to see Danica throw some powder that created a white cloud and then felt her arm being yanked as she helped her up, avoiding the sunlight as they tried to make it to the exit, however that was halted when they both noticed the sunlight outside, ‘Damn it, can’t I just get one break where my life isn’t in danger?’ She thought to herself. She caught some blankets that were thrown to her, glancing down at them as Danica was speaking, then looking back to her, “I don’t know, but it’s worth a shot, worst case scenario is that I turn to dust, then at least you won’t have to worry about me anymore.” She weakling chuckled, throwing the blanket over her body, trying to cover as much of her exposed skin as possible; she was starting to wish she never came back home, though if she wasn’t experiencing this chaos here, she’d probably be experiencing it wherever else she’d be.
