Been meaning to tap some threads on that AKS for a silencer (bringing it to AKS-74UB standard), maybe rechamber and bore it for a 9mm (9x39mm) round (raising it to similar to [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OTs-12_assault_rifle]OTs-12 'Tiss'[/url]).

But 5.45x39 is likely still more common.
