Posted, and Nidhogg is kind of getting tired of this fight. The fact that things keep getting sidetracked and that he doesn't want to fight Phelegethon along with all the others(especially with Amelia around) has really killed his ability to enjoy this fight. [@Zarkun]Also, I was just offering a proper explanation for what Nidhogg is and how he works earlier. If our Nidhogg is killed, then the true Nidhogg could technically reform into his true form . . . but it takes more time then he is currently willing to spend, so he just settles for taking the long road of possessing interesting individuals in order to keep himself busy while he gathers energy.
