He has served as Helmsman aboard the USS Perseus for five years where he learned and eventually worked as Navigator. He then spent the next five years working at Tactical and Security aboard the USS Ranger. When he heard about the Stargate project, he submitted a request to join and has been assigned to the project ever since.[/hider]

She studied mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer sciences and astro-physics in secondary education and continued in these fields in undergraduate and graduate work. Zura received a rare opportunity to serve in Starfleet at age 25 and jumped at the chance. Her first assignment was working in the engineering section aboard the USS Gemini, a Cruiser Class starship. She remained their for four years and was reassigned to the USS Geronimo where she served as Assistant Engineer just prior to receiving her appointment to the Stargate project.[/hider]

His academic history is very similar to Lieutenant Jade, but as a Vulcan he had access to more sophisticated instruments prior to joining Starfleet. Like another famous Vulcan, Kyr joined Starfleet and trained as a Science officer. When he was 22, he was assigned as a science officer aboard the USS Zodiac for three years. He then was assigned as a science officer aboard the USS Ravan, a Science and Exploration vessel. When the Stargate project was announced, he requested reassignment and received it. He has been grieving the loss of his homeworld, Vulcan.[/hider]

She also trained in Betazed unarmed combat and exercised regularly developing her body into a finely honed tool for combat. She did not hesitate to join Starfleet when the opportunity was presented to her and she gravitated toward the Security field. While at the Academy she excelled in unarmed combat training and performed well with the phaser pistol and phaser rifles as well as a few bladed weapons. Upon graduation from the Academy as an Ensign, she was informed about the Stargate project, immediately applied and was accepted.
