He faced his fellows once the Queen finished what she had to say. "I suggest we use my family's mansion as a starting point. It's fairly central to the city as my father is one of the primary Rune Mages of Periphery. There are also several exits and it has a decent level of security, so I don't think it's likely that the Grit have entered much more than the grounds. We could all move to where we need to fairly quickly from there."

“It would be a good place to start” Berry said slowly. “We could use it like a um, base of operations of some kind. And then branch out from there.” “Do you think we could use it to keep the people we restore safe as well?” She asked Vincent. Her mind then started to think about how many that would be. “At least to begin with before we could move them somewhere safer?”
The silence following Berry's last question seemed to last for days. Moth crossed his arms and shivered though the cavern wasn't cold enough to give him chills. Somewhere safer. Experiments, slavery, torture, just as the crazy conspiracy theorists in his life had feared. And now he was here, surrounded by strangers and standing before the Queen and asked to place his trust with those who didn't deserve it. He finally took a breath and stepped forward. "Um." Six faces turned to him. He could feel the glowing eyes of the machines on him as well. Moth gathered his wits and pressed on. "I think--uh, Vince, right?--Vince makes a good point. We, um, we don't know what else the Grit have out there that--that hasn't been unleashed yet," it opened its shimmering golden-pink eyes "but I want to be somewhere safe before we head to the mines. I think--I think we all do." He finished speaking, relieved. Before anyone else could step in, though, he felt more words coming before he could entirely process them. He looked the Queen in the eyes. "They were right, you know. The top shits on everyone below and we're supposed to think of it as a little rainstorm. My parents are dead because of you people." Silence. Moth realized who he had spoken to and stared at his boots. [sub]"Sorry."[/sub]
