Personality: Professor Daniel Bonsai is a very disorganized man, he is infamously terrible with keeping up with his schedule and keeping in contact with the other regions. Despite this, his knowledge and care towards Pokemon is world renowned. He often attempts to laugh off his problems and pretend that things are much better than they are.

Appearance: Professor Bonsai is a short and stocky man with curly black hair. He's often seen wearing a lab coat and very thick glasses.

History: Daniel Bonsai was fascinated by Pokemon ever since he could remember. His parents weren't really around when he was younger, but that didn't seem to bother him much as they often left their Pokemon at home to keep him company. His studies into the world of Pokemon started when he was very young and by the age of fifteen he was an assistant at multiple Pokemon labs. Because of his poor organization skills, he became fairly notorious. It became pretty difficult for him to hold down a job, but eventually he was given an offer he couldn't possibly refuse. 

	The Kosei Region was looking for a qualified professor and before he knew it, he was setting up his own lab in Windshire. Years later, he still wondered if he was cut out for the job. The other region's professors criticize him constantly for falling out of contact, and he loses paperwork on a nearly daily basis. The pressure of the job often threatens to crush him, but still he presses on. He believes that helping new trainers begin their journey makes all of it worthwhile.

In reality he is incredibly fit, but the midsection of the suit he wore is filled with a strange gas (Helium obviously) allowing him to seem able to leap and bound effortlessly.
