What really was starting to set off her alarm bells though is how he laughed obnoxiously, much like how someone would if they were nervous and trying act inconspicuous. Clearly he was up to something and it was whatever was in that box, she didn’t know if it was indeed a bomb or not, but it was starting to set Rex off as he began to growl towards Chase. Damn, this was a problem, she didn’t want to let on that she was with the CIA, especially if what he had in that box was just some harmless item, there could be people in the crowd that were working with this supposed terrorist group her superiors suspected and revealing herself could scare them off. Feeling it best to stay undercover still, she said to him, “Listen, I don’t know what you have in that box or what you’re planning to do, but I would highly advise against it, there’s dozen of law enforcement here and after this mess, I’m sure they’re all on edge and would quickly gun you down, there’s already been enough chaos for one day, there’s no need to add to anymore of it.” Hopefully her reasoning would get the man to back off from whatever he was attempting. “Rex, relax, just stay calm.” Scarlet spoke to the german shepard, he however kept growling at what was in the box, his protective instincts kicking in and refused to settle down until the threat was no longer there. ‘Damn it Rex, I get you’re protective but now is not one of those times to be so, especially since you find whatever is in that box, dangerous,’ She thought to herself as she continue to try and calm him down. She hoped it wouldn’t come to violence, but she readied herself just in case, placing her hand behind her back, it hovering near her hidden pistol, ‘Come on, don’t do anything stupid, you do and I’m sure I’ll need to explain myself after dealing with you,’ She thought to herself once more, waiting on what Chase would do next.

Elizabeth Hawthorne

Location: Emergency Room → Exiting with Danica Interacting With: Danica Graves (For the last time)[@Lady Amalthea]

Elizabeth let out a small chuckle, she was still very weak from whatever the hell attacked Danica and herself, “Guess I can’t really argue with that.” She was glad that even with whatever she was, Danica was still willing to give her a chance and help her, though she understood her continued caution, if the situations were reversed, Elizabeth would probably react the same way. She kept up her pace with Danica best she could as they went through the crowd and then started to head outside, okay there was a little sunlight, but that was alright, so far the blankets seemed to be working, it was a little warm for her taste, but she much preferred that over roasting like a pig in a luau. Then it seemed with her thoughts tempting fate, a huge gust of wind blew against them, sending the blanket on her flying off, though he desperately tried to cling to it, but in her weakened state it was no use and she started to feel the full effects of the sun as she began to scream in pain as the sun started to cook her already damaged flesh. She glanced over at Danica, knowing what was about to happen, “Guess this is the end for me...thanks for everything you did...good by-” She grunted, still holding onto Danica’s hand before being cut off as she collapsed into dust, thus that being the end of Elizabeth as a final brush of wind scattered her ashes that were left behind.

Jessica Sorreast

Location: Altsoba Methodist Hospital, 2nd Floor → ER Interacting With: Hospital Staff

Jessica came walking in, dawning on her gloves as she got ready to examine the patient; it definitely was a hectic day to say the least, she’d been running all around the hospital as dozens of people were flooding in, either to see loved ones or thinking they caught something such as the plague, the day was putting her a bit on edge, so she was a bit more blunt and sarcastic than usual, but when dealing with dozens to hundreds of people freaking out of a simple cough, it would get to anyone. Inside the room were two women, one being a nurse, the other being a fresh intern. Great, just what she needed, to be mommy and answer all their incessant questions; she began to check over the injuries the patient had, they weren’t too severe, but it’d be a while before he’d be out of the hospital. “So what’s been done so far?” She asked, continuing to examine the patient. “I’ve ordered a blood culture and a CT scan.” The blonde intern responded, hmm, perhaps she wouldn’t need to be a babysitter for the newbie, that would make her day a little less hectic. “Great, well when we get the results back we can..” She trailed off as her pager started to alert her that she was needed elsewhere. “Damn it, can’t I just get a moment of peace without constantly being needed?” She spoke to herself before heading out the door. When she finally made it to the ER, she saw dozens of people who had been severely injured, a nurse was passing by and Jessica asked her, “What’s going on, what happened?” “I don’t know, just they started to come in like crazy.” “How insightful, why don’t you go over to the wall and stand there, I’m sure you’ll be much more useful as building support than a damn nurse, M'kay?” She responded with a facade smile that quickly turned to a frown, she didn’t need this today. The nurse who was clearly insulted, ran off to tend to other people as Jessica went to work assisting in treating the people who looked like they had been in a small war, “And I thought this small town was going to be peaceful.” She said to herself as she continued to try and deal with the chaos happening in the ER.
