He could tell the witch had some sort of idea of what was going on with him, at least a better idea than Liam had - but that was a whole lot of nothing. His gaze followed the doctor for a few moments as she began to move away with another doctor, there was something wrong about the man, but he couldn't put his finger on it, his attention stolen back away by the witch as he turned to face him. He wasn't exactly expecting the barrage of questions, moving to stand carefully as he looked down at Daniyal, thinking of how best to answer them. "I... I don't really know how to put it... I..." He was cut off as he watched Daniyal suddenly become enveloped in an intense, incredibly bright light. He held up his hand to shield his eyes, but despite the light he could still see fairly clearly through it, his eyes settling on a woman right in the light. He had no clue who or what he'd seen as the light disappeared, but it only served to fill him with more confusion, the woman had been, well, gorgeous, but who was she? What was she? Had she caused the intense light that had just appeared, or was that his own doing somehow? His attention was ripped away again as he heard a woman's voice yelling in his direction. Turning his gaze toward the source, his eyes settled on the trio, the sheriff, detective and the FBI agent all looking in his direction. "Wh- no, I didn't... I don't know how that happened!" He insisted as he attempted to explain himself to the detective, she seemed fairly confident that none of this was out of the ordinary, at that point he wished he had her temperament. He was partly pleased, werewolves were generally a pain in the ass to deal with, but at the same time, if it wasn't a werewolf, it could only have been a few other things, and none of them were particularly good. However, as he looked over the report Zachary cited, he narrowed it down a little bit, recognizing the abbreviation, he figured it was something demonic, and muttered something under his breath in a kind of frustration. "I assumed it was a serial killer like the detective here suggested, we've been tracking someone for a while who might've fit that M.O. but, I 'spose it isn't them." He shrugged, he decided to go with the detective and keep up the facade that things were just fine, at least for now. He glanced over to the side, looking over the others in the town center before Cornish spoke up in regards to the images. He'd been half-hoping she wouldn't mention it, or that either of them wouldn't even notice it, saving him from conjuring up any explanation. He sighed, letting slip just some of his know-how. "It stands for Inferno, as in Dante's Infe-" He was cut off however by the flash of light and Jade's dragging the group of them to the ground. Not expecting the sudden pull, he allowed himself to be dragged down with her, groaning as he hit the ground. As the light cleared however, he moved to stand. Looking over at Liam, he couldn't exactly explain what had happened, he wasn't familiar with anything that did that, and it hadn't seemed to really do anything to anyone, just caused confusion, but Darren made a note to watch the reporter, he felt it had something to do with him. He heard the sheriff question what was going on, and as much as he wished to give the man a straight answer, he didn't feel like having Jade slap handcuffs on him at that moment. That could maybe come later. Well, provided the world didn't end.
