Alright, so I'm going to start soon. the best way to start I think is to have each character out in the real world using pokemon go before seeing the Digital Ticket and being sent to the Digital World. since I'm allowing three pokemon. When we fist arrive we'll meet one of the three. However, we'll not meet them immediately. Once we all post our arrival to the Digital World. Then we'll meet them. 

Edit: Also, when your character clicks the Digital ticket. we all don't need to experience the same phenomenon that drags out character into the Digital world. makes things more creative.
