Vera let out a long sigh. "Well, I don't have much experience with love, but that does make it difficult." She paused and glanced down at the small, struggling healer and her eyes glazed over with sympathy. "I had friends that used to say this much though: sometimes you need to let the things you love go. But if it comes back to you, then it's yours." She chuckled slightly. "I never really understood that much, but maybe it'd mean more to you."
