Jenna was serving breakfast and wondering what was going to happen when Kat got back. Nikki had said that she hated her dad but that Kat had never said why. All she knew was that if he asked about Grace she was Nikki and Vincent's baby. She had almost laughed at that. Jenna had grinned at James and said, [color=f7976a]"Seriously? She said that?"[/color] When he had replied she smiled and agreed to do it.

Jenna looked up as the line dwindled and she looked at Kat's dad from across the room and she could see the violence in him. She couldn't describe it exactly. Call it intuition. She didn't trust him.

Jon stood from the table of nights watchmen and made his way over to Jenna. [color=a2d39c]"So, what have you made today Jen."[/color] he said before he noticed that she had a small grin on her face. [color=a2d39c]"Okay, whats going on? I know  that look."[/color] he said leaning over the counter.

Jenna smiled at him and pulled him close and kissed him and she pointed out Kat's dad. [color=f7976a]"His name is Malcolm and he is not trusted by anyone yet. He just puts out bad vibes. Kat and Matt get home today and Nikki has had Gracie. She has apparently told everyone that if he were to ask that Gracie is hers and Vincent's."[/color] Jenna almost laughed out loud. [color=f7976a]"Nikki and Vincent nearly killed each other last week. How did he suddenly become close enough to her that he is staying in her room to pull off this charade?"[/color]

Jon smiled at Jenna. [color=a2d39c]"You know your real cute when you do that right?"[/color] he said as he put his arm around her. [color=a2d39c]"Must be a real prick if Kat hates him. Kat likes everyone. So whats the game plan with this guy? are we gonna do something or are we just gonna stand aside and let things unfold?"[/color]

[color=f7976a]"I think we should just watch unless called in to help with something. I do agree with Nikki on this. She said Kat shuts down when it comes to her dad and that 'she hates him' is an understatement. I think it would have to be bad but Nikki doesn't know anything else about it. She is determined that him knowing about Grace has to be Kat's decision. Nikki is respecting Kat's decisions as a mother and I think that is wonderful even if it does pair her with oddball Vincent. James said Vincent was a hitman or something. It's hard to picture him and Nikki together."[/color]

Jenna looked at Jon and said [color=f7976a]"Aren't you glad our lives are so much less complicated?"[/color] She grinned at his chuckle and kissed him.
