In fact, you'll almost never hear her talk bad about another person, believing there's good in everybody. This does tend to get her into trouble since she's liable to believe every word someone says to her. If someone needs assistance, she's there in an instant. If there's anything she can do, she'll do it without complaint. While she seems a bit timid, meek, and mild, Temperance is quite curious about the world around her and might accidentally stick her nose where it doesn't belong.

Perhaps her most prominent negative trait is that she can have some severe bouts of anxiety, to the point she'll break down into a panic attack. Fortunately, she's on medication to help keep her anxiety at a manageable level. Due to her strict Christian background, she also seems to have a bad habit of sticking to her old fashioned way of thinking and doesn't necessarily understand more progressive issues. Strangely, she is known to crack an inappropriate joke from time to time though, usually regarding a dark topic. Nonetheless, Temperance tries her best to get along with everybody, even if it costs her sanity!

[b][color=de5d83]What Brings You to Dunder Mifflin:[/color][/b] Temperance is a recent graduate from Geneva College down the road from New Castle. Spying an open entry level position for an Accountant, she applied, got an interview, and well... now she's here! She's just beginning but she can already tell it's going to be a long road to travel before she's settled. This is her first job ever, so her anxiety levels are expected to be through the roof.

[b][color=de5d83]Life Up To This Point:[/color][/b] Temperance comes from a strict yet just middle class family of ultraconservative Jehovah Witnesses. Her younger years aren't quite what one would call normal, considering her family, and she was barred from most forms of entertainment that kids would flock to. Books and puzzles became her entertainment, and she learned a different mindset that instilled the fear and love of God into her. Though her family was hard and has set fundamental rules that she has had to follow, there has been no complaints from Temperance. Notably, technology was almost completely absent from their house save for vital appliances, and she didn't learn how to operate a computer until her Sophomore year of college, having been home schooled a good majority of her life. Even to this day, she doesn't own a cell phone and can only really work Macintosh computers. 

After finishing her basic education, the next step was college, something that not all of her family supported. They told her to pray on her decision, which she obliged, and came to the decision that she would go and study Accounting at Geneva College down the road, the first female in her family to do so. College was a new experience for Temperance, though a scary one. Associating with people outside her family circle was a challenge and she found that not everyone saw the world through the lenses her family saw through. There was a wide world out there, full of differing beliefs and opinions. Her eyes were open to so much in such a little amount of time! Her time at Geneva College taught her that, though it was fundamentally a Christian school, she didn't necessarily believe the same things as her parents and her religious nature diminished over time. On an accelerated path through college, Temperance did fairly decently in her studies and graduated with a BSA in Accounting and a solid 3.12 GPA. 

After graduating, she was left with a modicum of debt and a yearning to do something with her life. Having lived with her parents for so long, Temperance considered moving out briefly, but she quickly decided otherwise. She was much too unprepared for a step like that! First, she needed a job, and so she went and applied for the modest amount of Accounting jobs in New Castle, the town she has called home all her life. Surprisingly, she managed to net herself an entry level position with Dunder Mifflin. Now Temperance can save up money and... well, she doesn't know what she's going to do with her wages since her parents take care of all the bills. Alas, new adventures await the inexperienced woman!
