Hi! Anyone interested in doing a survival RP about their planet crashing into another planet? The RP would start a bit before the crash and continue after the crash. A bit of magic can be involved, or just sheer construction expertise.
The Current State of the World In an alternate solar system, two third-planets-from-the-sun are due to collide in six months. The smaller one, Orpheus, is home to many highly intelligent magical humanoid alien species. With their modern technology and magical abilities, the humanoids have determined that Orpheus will be obliterated in this collision, partially merging with LRP3 (Large Rocky Planet 3) and partially scattering out into space. The larger planet, LRP3, is as of yet deserted; its atmosphere unsuitable to support life. The humanoids have coexisted on Orpheus for thousands of years in various states of peace and war, but must now work together if they want to survive this catastrophe.
Hope for Survival For the past 10 years, the humanoids have been building a massive spaceship containing a sustainable ecosystem with the hopes that it can support humanoid survival in space, but research and construction forces have been inadequate. The physical spacecraft is almost complete, but its management and sustainability still need work. The spacecraft is being built in the middle of the desert, within driving distance of the Space Center. If the spacecraft is finished before the collision, the humanoids will be safe in outer space. If not... well, chances of surviving the crash are slim, unless unconventional circumstances come about (ie. you'll have to write how you survive; feel free to build things, use your powers, work together, etc.).
A Message from the Creator The collision will happen sometime during the course of this RP, whether the spacecraft is finished or not (I've got the powah! Muahahaha...). Until then, everyone's objective should be finding a way to survive the collision. The RP will continue after the collision as well, either up in space or down on whatever land is left from the event. Also, the title of this RP and a bit of the intro, at least the formatting, may or may not change depending on suggestions you might have. The plot and planning was co-created by myself and [@sirena]. We'll both be involved in this RP.

Scientists: Study Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, etc. to plan and operate the ship. Builders: Get the stuff to put the ship together, and then put it together. Reporters: Spread word on predictions about the collision and the progress of the ship. (Any suggestions?)

City: Concentrated in the center-right of the continent, with tall buildings. Suburbs of houses run into the middle and down the right side of the continent, with factories here and there. Processed goods come through here. Mountain Range: A small cluster of snow-capped mountains to the north. Contains winter weather and wildlife. Temperate Forest: At the base of the mountains, extending down the left side of the continent. Has variable weather, terrain, and wildlife. Desert: In the south. Contains the Space Center and the spacecraft, but otherwise mostly empty. Tropical Islands: Two large islands to the south of the desert. Its outskirts are popular vacation destinations, while its inland hills are covered in thick jungle and lots of wildlife. Ocean: Surrounds the continent. Contains a rich coral reef between the Tropical Islands and the mainland. Contains the typical range of sea creatures elsewhere.

- The GM and the Co-GM are god. What they say is law and open to dispute in the OOC tab or through PM. - You are not god. So no godmodding please. - No OOC drama. If you have a problem please PM the GM or Co-GM; we are always here to help. - Please wait to be accepted before posting IC. When you are accepted, the GM or Co-GM will post your CS in the Character Tab. - You can play as many characters as you can keep active. (Although if you have 30 characters you might need to get out more.) - No double posting. If you have more than one character please differentiate them somehow. - No major plots like death or natural disasters/catastrophes without GM permission. - If you want to leave the roleplay, please tell the GM or Co-GM first. - Please keep explicit content to fade to black or take it to PM. - Quality over quantity (a.k.a. proper spelling and grammar). That being said, no one-liners please. At least a few good sentences should suffice. No novels either. - Make sure to read all the posts in bold made by the GM or the Co-GM as those are important events/plot drops.
