Not being under ALL OF THE TIME-PRESSURE, I gave your Seed a read over and I still have some questions/have to make some corrections: Can your dude see Qnd? Cuz you didn't say anything about that.
No worries about time restraints, go at a pace your fine with. Moving onto the point, I would believe that he would be able to see that in dead organisms as there wouldn't be any reason to not see it when he sees everything else, including Vim which probably would be in excess. With external Mana and Vim mixing together, that's what got me thinking of seeing the world that Anton sees is always gloomy but yeah, no reason why he wouldn't see it. I forgot about it but I would add that on if thats okay with you

Also, having fleshed out some more stuff yesterday because reasons I gotta correct you on some things. The cycle between Mana and Ether is like a representation between life and death, all of the eternal rebirthing and stuff! So Ether also represents death in a sense.
I figured it was like a representation of death, the in between life which is considered to be only to be Mana and the stages of death which is Ether, Qnd and Vim in that sense. I kinda used Madoka Magica as a reference with this system of Mana, Ether, Qnd and Vim so my hypothesis on everything was more or less in the same place. All in all- Yes, I do understand that ether represents death in a way.
