"Echo, hun, maybe if we didn't go right to stabbing..." her partner spoke, breaking Nyt from her anger as she watched her friend fidget with her hands. It took her a moment to settle down and she pulled her dagger out of the woman’s shoulder blade with a shrug. She almost felt bad for her actions that she did out of anger, but she also knew it wouldn’t be the last time: the more she saw Lisa’s lifeless body or Marcus’, (who she believed was the strongest in terms of strengths), in her head, the more she couldn’t control her actions. "We could start off slow, yeah? Get to know each other. We don't even know her name. Though I'm guessing it has something to do with cheetahs...Maybe she's just a demented Cheetah Girl who lost her way..." “Fine. I’m… so-rry,” she said slowly, letting the words roll off her tongue like it was a foreign language. Obviously, she didn’t mean it to the cheetah woman’s pain, but more to her only friend as she made her uncomfortable with the stabbing. “Well, Cheetah – I’m taking a stab here with your name,” she said, looking over at Eddie to drive her point with the wordplay before looking back to the woman who snarled at both of them, “You’re obviously here for us, since no one even knows we’re alive. Why are you still after us?” she started, her roll of questioning just beginning. “Money,” came out of her lips, showing them her bared teeth, “A girl could make a nice retirement out of bringing your dead bodies back to the boss.” Nyt was about to slap her across the face, but she stopped when she realized she had raised her hand yet again out of anger. The woman was telling the truth, no doubt, but there was still something else as Cheetah flinched out of anticipation for the hit. “What else?” she said softly, bringing her hand down to her side after a moment. She could see Eddie’s look of approval out of the corner of her eye and she felt better about having someone there to keep her in check, especially as the woman attempted to cooperate.
