Well, she's half-[i]dwarf[/i] and all.  Female dwarfs have beards.  Tolkein said so.

But yeah, thankfully her beard grows [i]really[/i] slowly on accounts of being half-human, so it takes about a month for a light stubble to emerge... Which she quickly shaves off before anyone can see. XD
