	[color=violet][sub][ ♚ ] A P P E A R A N C E[/sub][/color][hr][indent][color=7e6e75]A prime example of warrior breeding, Nikalai easily reaches 6 feet in height (and still growing), with long legs and strong arms. Her pale blonde hair is well past her shoulders in length and almost always kept up in intricate braids that serve as fashionable and practical. One’s long hair can get in the way of more important things. But one does want to look their best when beheading a goblin. 

Fair skin and a pointed nose, sharp blue eyes with strong brows, Nikalai is an imposing figure. Luckily her full mouth is more often barred in a grin rather than a snarl. 

While she is attractive she might not be considered beautiful or pretty. More…Intimidatingly stunning?

	[color=violet][sub][ ♚ ] P E R S O N A L I T Y[/sub][/color][hr][indent][color=7e6e75]Bold, strong willed, opinionated. Just a few words to describe Nikalai. In a world where the strong and fearless rule and the weak don’t make it long Nikalai was raised to be a resilient ruler. 

Cunning and swift with her tongue Nikalai can be sharp with her words and a brute when angry. She works often to control her temper and while she is one to act quickly, has learned that patience is key. Watch your prey, know your enemy. 

But Nikalai is not all fight and hunter. She is also good humored and quick to laugh (almost as quick she is to anger). While being a Princess has led her to enjoy a more genteel life, she by no means is delicate. She is just as likely to punch a friend in the arm as she is to ‘giggle’ at their witty banter.  And she is not above pranks. Not at all.

While it is difficult to make friends with Nikalai, and even more so to gain her trust or respect, once that relationship is gained Nikalai is loyal almost to a fault.

	[color=violet][sub][ ♚ ] C H I L D H O O D[/sub][/color][hr][indent][color=7e6e75]Nikalai had a normal childhood. You know…Learning to hunt down orcs and goblins, learning to throw a spear before she could properly walk. Knife play at the dinner table. The usual. 

With an older brother leading by example Nikalai learned quickly and enthusiastically. Her parents encouraged her studies and it was always understood that she would go off to school one day. 

Forever the dare devil and feeling the need to keep up with the older boys and squires Nikalai had a tremendous amount of hope and tenacity. And luck seemed to be on her sides, regularly getting out of situations that were down right dangerous with little more than a scraped knee or a bloodied nose. 

When her brother went missing (Nikalai was rather young at the time) she never lost hope that he would return. And much to the families shock and joy he did. This magical return of her beloved sibling further instilled Nikalai with the belief that if you wanted something bad enough it would come true.

	[color=violet][sub][ ♚ ] M O T I V E S[/sub][/color][hr][indent][color=7e6e75] With Nikalai’s propensity for stealth and cunning it was clear she could benefit from a higher level of education. Additionally it is tradition to send the heirs off to school. So off she went. While it was annoying to be removed from her life in the cliffs, her adventures and thrills decreased, Nikalai knows her family only want what is best for her and so begrudgingly is going with the plan.
