History: Kyoya is the son of a witch who cursed and manipulated his father, who was a weapon, for several years. When Kyoya came of age his latent magic power inherited from his mother started to surface. His power was strong and unstable and his mother wanted to turn him into a tool of destruction. When Kyoya's father learned of this he was able to break free of the spell that bound him to the witch's will, not wanting his son become the witch's toy like he had been. His father battled his mother and they ended up destroying each other.

Kyoya drifted around on his own for a while, keeping away from cities because of his unstable magic power. Then after a couple of years he seemed he have gained enough control to suppress the magic. Even though he could now be among other people, he had no where to go. When he ventured into town came across a woman and her son being cornered by a mugger. Kyoya rushed in and rescued the two. The woman took him in to thank him. For a while it was like he had a real mother and even a little brother. He was happy. Until his powers slipped out of his control again. Over the years Kyoya had learned to recognize the signs of when his magic was about to run wild. In the middle of the night he left the place he thought was going to be his home to protect his new family. He ran as fast as he could, trying to get as far away as possible before it was too late. Then it happened. When Kyoya came to he was relieved to see he had gotten far enough for the woman and her son to be safe but he was still shocked and horrified by what he had done. He ended up destroying more than a quarter of the city.
