Alice twisted away from his hand, nearly tripping over her own feet as she continued toward the door walking backwards. "Bullshit, don't even try and act like you understand a single thing. And I'm not going through anything!" she hissed, glaring at him. As soon as her hand went to the door Alice realized what she was doing. He hadn't done anything and yet she was raising her voice at him. Finally she sighed, putting a hand to the side of her head. "Oh my gosh- Lucas I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just- I need to go home. Please...please just pretend today didn't happen. I'll do the stupid project with you then I'm done. Just...leave me alone, okay? I don't know why you care, but I don't need you telling everyone to watch out for me." She looked down, fidgeting with her bag. "I gotta go. No more questions that don't have to do with the project. Doesn't make sense to ask," she muttered, attempting to go outside again. It was raining, though not as hard as before.
