Ari hadn't meant to fall asleep. When she awoke she looked at her family once more and tucked the photo holder into her pants pocket. She looked at herself in the mirror and she picked up her hairbrush and ran it through her hair. She could hear Malik downstairs. She figured he could have killed her so many times and didn't that she would just trust him. Ari came downstairs and peaked out the window and opened the front door carefully. She skirted the building making sure to look all around. She darted out to the front yard and grabbed the model home sign. She brought it in and set it in the garage after locking the front door back. Ari looked up as she heard vehicles outside moving around. Soldiers?"Malik!" She said almost frantically as she watched a few men who were more than likely gang members breaking into the houses that weren't already showing signs of looting. Ari ran up the stairs and grabbed her bag and then to the kitchen quietly. "Where's my gun? There are looters out front. " Ari kept her coat on the couch in case she had to make a break for it quickly. [@king tai]
