Ah, ok, well in that case...

[@Rune_Alchemist] Then don't EV train your Pokémon. It's not a requirement, because like you said you weren't planning on using showdown, which is what the EVs are for anyways. So I don't see why we wouldn't use it for the sake of one person that it doesn't apply to.

When I'm challenging gyms I'm using showdown and I'll give someone else the move list for the Pokémon to battle me as the gym leaders. Since I'm using showdown I want to be able to have an advantage against gym leaders by EV training my Pokémon.
